Task
IBBY Congress is an international scientific forum dedicated to children's literature and everything related to it. This year it finally took place in Moscow, and our team was responsible for its complete organization.
Openining Ceremony took place at the Pushkin Museum with the participation of M. Shvydkoy and S. Stepashin, as well as with official appeals from T. Golikova and V. Putin. On the following days of the Congress, the participants moved to the Russian State Children's Library, where the main scientific program and discussions took place.
Also an important and status part of the Congress annually is the Ceremony of awarding the Gold Medal of G.Kh. Andersen - it's an analogue of the Nobel Prize in the field of children's literature. Therefore, in order to emphasize the status of the moment for the ceremony, the Pashkov House was chosen for it.
Despite the big number of offline participants, many were unable to fly to Russia due to the pandemic. Therefore, the online platform of the Congress was developed, to which all 8 streams of speeches were simultaneously broadcasted, and a separate huge block of exhibitions of works and achievements of writers from all over the world was implemented.
