Polina Gagarina - show "Forever"

On May 27, a solo concert by Polina Gagarina and the presentation of her new show "Forever" took place at the Megasport Palace of Sports. We acted as a full-fledged production of this event - directing, content, technical development.

The stage and performances were full of non-standard solutions and technologies, many of which were the author's developments of our production team especially for the concert:

- Almost the entire second level of the stage was a huge lifting platform, with the help of which dancers and scenery appeared in front of the audience. This solution was made possible with the help of a system of programmable platforms, the movement accuracy of which was calculated to the millimeter.

- Case for pyrotechnic geeks. In one of the performances, a real car was raised on stage, which in itself is not surprising. But the fact that in this issue the whole stage was literally on fire from a huge amount of pyrotechnics became a separate story in the preparation of the project. To make this possible and comply with the necessary fire regulations, we had to disassemble the car from the inside and remove potentially dangerous containers with flammable liquids

- The main wow-effect of the show is the media cube in the "World Ocean» perfomance. We have chosen the ideal mirror material that transmits light well from the hidden LED screens. The main challenge was, of course, the effect of Polina's disappearance at the climax of the act. The fact is that there is no ready-made stage solution for this trick on the russian market, so we had to develop and manufacture almost half of the entire structure in production. Judging by the reaction of people in the hall and the media, it was worth it.

- In the best traditions of world tours, a whole technical city unfolded under the stage. Mechanics control stations, sound and light racks, walkways for artists from their dressing rooms to stage exit points, all of this was located directly below the stage.

- For each video with the participation of people, unique locations were selected, and all of them were very unusual. Chroma key was used for only one video, everything else was filmed in natural scenery. Also for the project, we specially created a 3D model of Polina using scanning.

- Every detail, every costume or decorations, even the dancers' shoes were created exclusively for the concert.
