Forum ONstage. Future emotions
ONstage Forum 2016. Future Emotions became a platform to inspire participants, giving them the opportunity to see the unique cases, to learn from peers and cooperate with the top speakers of Russian and foreign show-industry.
During the 2 days on the stage of the forum we saw the leading specialists in the area of directing, staging and technical production. Despite the spread of topics and different approaches to the organization of the event, all speakers unanimously agreed on one thing - for that moment the content of any event, regardless of its direction, is more important than the visual form. And all the techniques, emerging technologies and trends are mostly for that purpose - to help the organizers to communicate the content to the audience, surprising her and giving the right emotions.
ONstage has found the response of the audience, because it was not a dialogue about the shape of events and of their content, this talk was about emotions, impressions, about how to create them, and how to manage them.
On the first day Alexander Us (Sila Sveta) and Maxim Kozlov (Interactive Lab) shared their experience and vision of future and technology with the guests of the Forum. Speakers talked about the mapping, holograms, the VR technologies, drones, trackers, as well as provide the audience a unique opportunity to see an exclusive photos and videos of preparation of the acclaimed Project Outline Festival.
Alexey Sechenov, who is usually a rare speaker, had a speech that caused a lot of questions from the audience about the team, the company itself and the principles of project work.
One of the most prominent world's experts of lighting design nowadays -Tim Routledge became the headliner of the first day. We had a video call from New York, and spoke about his cases, working with the world's biggest stars and their attitude to work with lighting equipment in preparation for the major show.
The second day opened with a great designer, winner of the Tony Award - David Gallo, creator of the brand new production of "Cinderella" from Stage Entartaiment, that the Russian audience will see in October. David talked about the preparation of this show and his other projects, shared his personal techniques and gave the audience a few professional tips.
Sergey Shanovicha (Shandesign) caused a particular interest among the audience. He told how to prepare the global projects such as "Dancing on TNT" and "Fight Nights" and why they have become iconic, acquiring a huge number of fans all over the country. Sergey spoke to the audience about how to apply to your own project to get a unique product in a result.
Alexander Rykhlov, the director of the cult rock opera "Juno and Avos" and our special guest - the famous Italian director and architector Valerio Festi spoke about the classical stage direction and staging.
The Director of Polina Gagarina Eurovision show and Evgeni Plushenko "Snow King» - Alexey Golubev (Mag Film) answered numerous questions from the audience about the methods of creating ideas, staging shows, team work and future plans.
At the end of the forum the legendary photographer from Germany Ralph Larmann came on stage, revealing his secrets how to create unique images with concerts, theater shows and performances. Ralph showed the audience the best cases and gave advice on how to convey the whole palette of emotions in a single moment.
Once again the ONstage Forum 2016 became a bright event in the industry, bringing together in one place the professionals who want to grow and develop their professionalism and thus the quality of output events to a new level.
